Originally from London I moved to Hertfordshire in 1979 when I married and commuted to the City of London for some years my background being an extensive career in secretarial and administrative roles.  I worked for many years as Personal Assistant to a barrister in a shipping law firm, eventually moving more locally to become PA for the Managing Director of a country house agents and then for a country house development firm.  My husband and I have had a property in North Norfolk for over 35 years, but I retired in 2010 and it was a natural progression to eventually move to Holt permanently in 2015.

Having always had a keen interest in heritage railways I volunteered for the Membership Team of the M&GN in 2016 and have also become active in assisting the Weybourne bookshop team.  I was both surprised and delighted to be asked to join the Trustees in September 2021 with particular responsibility for engaging with our Members, enhancing, expanding and maintaining the Membership.

Hobbies include walking, reading, model railways and endeavouring to complete incredibly difficult sudoku puzzles !
