B12 in BR Guise

The 'flagship' locomotive of the North Norfolk Railway, ourLNER B12took part in several photo charters in early November.

It worked runpasts and staged cameos with both Quad-Art Set No.74 and a plum and custard rake which featured LNER Gresley RB E9128E - also known as theMuddle and Go NowhereReal Ale Bar Car.

A preservation first also took place, with No.8572 wearingBRITISH RAILWAYSvinyl overlays on the tender and cabsides to renumber her into an apple green BR loco as 61572. Although no members of the B12/3 class wore apple green (they were all repainted into BR black on nationalisation), it really looked the part.
